Severn Bridge One Mile 

Thursday August 20th. 7:00-7:30pm.

Sorry no 10k this year...
.... but we will be holding a grass-roots style 'One Mile' event as we did last year.
Age limit - for both distances runners must be over 8 years of age.

One Mile - £5

The mile will be a linear route (one way). It will start on the bridge and run back to the Aust end. Runners will be set off in waves (ten runners approx in each based on declared speed). This will be a gun to chip event (meaning that your time starts on the word 'go'). There are no timing mats at the start, only at the end, to record your time.
The mile is suitable for both Juniors and Adults.  

 Car Parking - is likely to be at the Aust services at the Gympanzees car park (old Aust services car park). There will be no event base as such, no cakes/coffees etc but there will be a medal for Juniors in the mile event and awards in the usual categories.
